Festival of Trees: 250 Years of Holiday Traditions

About this event

Celebrate the holiday season at the 17th annual Festival of Trees, when the Bedford Area Welcome Center transforms into a festive wonderland filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees!

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, this year’s theme is “250 Years of Holiday Traditions.” Approximately 40 trees decorated by local businesses and organizations will showcase creativity while celebrating the traditions, memories and holiday spirit that have brought generations together throughout our nation’s history.

Vote for Your Favorites: Visitors can vote for their favorite tree—or trees—for just $1 per vote. Each participating business or organization selects a local charity to support, and voting proceeds are distributed to those charitable organizations at the conclusion of the festival. Your vote not only supports your favorite tree but also gives back to the community!

Family Fun: Children can enjoy a special Festival of Trees scavenger hunt and have the chance to win a prize.

Hours:

• Open Daily: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Extended Hours: Open until 8 p.m. on the first two weekends in December.

• Holiday Closures: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Admission is free, so stop by, enjoy the trees, cast your votes and celebrate 250 years of holiday traditions while supporting great causes in the Bedford community!
