- ➤ Renovations continue on a 200-year-old house in Fishburn Park that Keri and Justin VanBlaricom plan to convert into Fishburn Perk by the end of 2026. - ➤ A WDBJ7 Archive piece revisits Sears Town, which opened in Roanoke in March 1957 and was once the largest Sears in the South — its move from downtown to Williamson Road marked a key moment in local shopping history until it closed in 2019. WDBJ7

- ➤ New River Community College has opened registration for two noncredit one-week welding training programs taught by Associate Professor Josh Graham on its Dublin campus.
