Roanoke College held its 20th R House dedication on Saturday as students teamed with Habitat for Humanity to build a new home for the Davis family in the Roanoke Valley.

Governor Glenn Youngkin ordered flags to be lowered at half-staff on all state and local buildings & grounds to honor nearly 4,000 American service members wounded or killed at Pearl Harbor, with the flags being lowered at sunrise and remaining until sunset today.

PARK Roanoke expanded its gateless parking system to all facilities, easing entry for drivers.

The upgrade, following a successful trial (last month), is now active.
