EDUCATION NEWS

  • Roanoke College held its 20th R House dedication on Saturday as students teamed with Habitat for Humanity to build a new home for the Davis family in the Roanoke Valley.  WSLS 10

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Glenn Youngkin ordered flags to be lowered at half-staff on all state and local buildings & grounds to honor nearly 4,000 American service members wounded or killed at Pearl Harbor, with the flags being lowered at sunrise and remaining until sunset today.  WDBJ7
  • PARK Roanoke expanded its gateless parking system to all facilities, easing entry for drivers. The upgrade, following a successful trial (last month), is now active.  WDBJ7
