- ➤ Roanoke County began work this summer on Tully Drive near Glen Cove Elementary School to address flooding caused by an old, undersized pipe; one local family said the new storm drain in their backyard makes it unsafe for children and pets to play unsupervised—county officials explained that a fence is not allowed because it could block drainage.
