- ➤ The second annual Glaze for Gold fundraiser kicked off Saturday at Glazed Bisque-It in Roanoke to help survivors of childhood cancer. - ➤ A man was injured when his vehicle rolled over him while he tried to free it on private property Saturday, September 6 + his three children in the car were unharmed as he was transported to Carilion Roanoke Hospital in critical condition. WDBJ7

- ➤ Roanoke City Council approved a $400 million bond for Carilion Clinic to finance and refinance projects such as the new Crystal Spring Tower, and council members clarified that these bonds do not obligate the city.
