GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, the Roanoke City Council approved a $25 million LOCBAN to address a backlog in city maintenance projects by funding priority repairs to elevators and HVAC systems — the measure will spread funding over the next five to seven years. Mayor Joe Cobb said the bond carries a fixed interest rate of 3.92% on drawn funds and is supported by the recent meals tax increase. WSLS 10
