- ➤ Roanoke police found a missing woman's body yesterday—officials said a homicide investigation is underway. WDBJ7
- ➤ Virginia State Police issued a CODI Alert Tuesday to locate 7-year-old Annalise Allen after she was last seen on Sunday at Bennett Drive NW in Roanoke—authorities note she may be with Martina Pamplin driving a black Jeep Compass. ABC 13
- ➤ Roanoke police are searching for 40-year-old Meagan Martin—described as a white woman with hazel eyes and brown hair—after she last spoke with family on June 14th; officers visited her home on the 1400 block of Downing St NW on Monday and Tuesday, executing a search warrant after reports of suspicious items, and she is now considered endangered. - ➤ Carilion Clinic held a ribbon-cutting today for its 12-story Crystal Spring Tower in Roanoke, which expands emergency and cardiovascular care at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital—showcasing a doubled emergency department with Level 1 trauma bays and a new helipad. The tower also includes a lobby cafe, interfaith chapel and a 550-space parking garage, and its Cardiovascular Institute will open in mid-July. WDBJ7

- ➤ USA Cycling announced that over 1900 cyclists will race at Carvins Cove, Elmwood Park and Explore Park from July 14-20 with a $10 trails fee added to each registration to support local trail work.
