- ➤ On Monday, May 25, residents gathered in Bedford to honor the 20 Bedford Boys who gave their lives on D-Day (nine are buried at Greenwood Cemetery) during an event hosted by the Bedford International Alliance that kept their legacy alive. ABC 13
- ➤ Mayor Joe Cobb and local officials held a wreath-laying ceremony at Freedom Park on Monday to honor Memorial Day (as noted by 10 News Photojournalist Jordan Parham). WSLS 10

GOVERNMENT NEWS
