Roanoke hosted the Community School’s 46th annual Strawberry Festival at Elmwood Park on Friday and Saturday to raise funds for lower tuition and enhanced student learning.

The event featured sweet treats and student-made strawberry items amid strong community spirit.

Taco’Ritas Festival returned to Roanoke at the Berglund Center on Saturday, offering live music by The Chupacabras and DJ Davis on the Flex Party Truck, food trucks serving tacos and beverages, and shopping vendors with $12.40 admission for adults and free entry for children 12 and under.
