- ➤ Hundreds gathered at the funeral of 10-year-old Autumn Bushman, who died on March 21 after being bullied at school; motorcycle groups with orange ribbons led processions and her family vowed to work to end bullying in her memory. WDBJ7
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fire on Friday displaced three people when crews responded to a residence on the 900 block of Stewart Ave SE and controlled the blaze by 5:08 p.m.—the Red Cross is assisting those affected while the Fire Marshal investigates the incident. ABC 13

- ➤ Roanoke police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot dead on Friday evening in Roanoke. Roanoke.com
- ➤ Roanoke Police are searching for 84 year old Jeremy Robinson (a white man 5'11 tall, 155 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair who has a cognitive impairment) after he was last seen March 29 at 7:42 p.m. on the 5300 block of Peters Creek Road wearing a green plaid shirt, blue jeans and red suspenders and he may be driving a silver 2001 Toyota Highlander with Virginia plates reading ASHWD. - ➤ Edmond Johnson, a 29-year-old from Louisiana, was identified as the suspect who died after exchanging gunfire with deputies at Love's Truck Stop in Lambsburg off I-77 exit 1 on March 28—two deputies were injured and taken to hospitals with their conditions not yet released. WDBJ7
