ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Authorities said charges remain pending after a fatal crash on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. on Rt. 220 in Botetourt County where a detached truck braking part hit a Hyundai—killing Roanoke man Chad Hunter Ferguson, 44, at the scene. WDBJ7

- ➤ Roanoke Police responded just before 9:30 p.m. on March 20 to a call at the 3600 block of Ferncliff Avenue NW—finding a man with gunshot wounds who was taken to a local hospital as the investigation continues. ABC 13
- ➤ Roanoke police charged owner Kayla Campbell and director Ian Yaeger of Nomadic Paws Kitten Rescue with two counts of felony animal neglect after officers found 47 cats in poor condition on the 1400 block of Peters Creek Road Northwest—2 cats were dead and 7 were sent to an emergency veterinarian, and they will appear in court on May 6 at 2 p.m. WSLS 10
